I just returned from a weekend at the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes and I can’t wait to tell you all about it! This resort is one of the most amazing resorts I’ve ever experienced. Yes, it’s down the road from Disney Parks, Universal Parks and Sea World but you won’t even think about going to the parks during your stay.
This resort is a perfect 5-6 night experience, there is so much to do! They have several pools, a fabulous water park and gaming tables and games all over the property. They have mountain bikes, horseback riding, archery, fishing, golf, kayaking, wakeboarding and falconry. And don't get me started on the Kids Club!!! I had to drag my daughter out of the club, she never wanted to leave.
The dining options are incredible! Knife and Spoon is a Michelin-starred restaurant and Primo is Michelin recommended. There are several “grab and go” options, poolside bars and casual restaurants. You never have to leave the resort so there’s no need for a rental car. And, don’t forget about the Club Lounge….they serve so many options in the Club Lounge, you don’t even need the restaurants! They have about 9 different wine varietals on tab and a COOKIE HUMIDOR!!
And now….the rooms….they have recently been refurbished and they. Are. BEAUTIFUL. They are so
thoughtfully and intentionally designed. Plugs and light switches above the nightstand, just makes sense. Huge TVs where you can also log into your Netflix and YouTube accounts. Harry Josh hair dryers (look them up, they are awesome) and so much more. I didn’t want to leave.
The Ritz-Carlton also has 3-bedroom and 4-bedroom luxury residences for larger families that could be their own blog post.
If the Ritz isn’t in your budget, their sister resort, the JW Marriott Grande lakes, will! They have some amazing Family Suites that will knock your socks off.
Everyone should consider this resort for their next vacation!! You won't be disappointed!!!
